Hey Everyone,

A friend of mines is head to Hong Kong. She asked me if there was a chain store equivalent to the Banana Republic, Express, Gap, JCrew in Hong Kong... I remember someone mentioned a few brands like that in Hong Kong. Can someone fill me into that brand name and possibly the location(s) of those stores.

Thanks in Advance.

Giordano, Muji, Uniqlo, Baleno, Bossini, Hang Ten etc. Best stop for all these are in Tsim Sha Tsui. There is a MTR stop there. This a casual clothes shopping haven.

u2, cour carre are less streetwear, more business attired. personally i avod these hongkong chains because of the quality and fit of these- except for one, girodano sometimes brings out linen short-sleeved shirts. other than that, i'd rather use the money i save on dimsum at metropole.

Giordano has some nice polo shirts (or do you call them tennis shirts), i.e. T-shirts with a collar and 2 buttons, in may sizes.

There are also 2 Esprit outlet stores in Tsim Sha Tsui, and they're OK if you aren't very tall (I am 6'4" myself, so no luck).

Also, beware and select a tailor with care if you want to go for that road.
