Question about cuffs

Hi, I have recently gotten interested in french cuffs and, at the same time, cufflinks.
When I was sorting through my shirts to find out whether I had any french cuff shirt or not, I found some that have barrel cuffs but two button holes. Here is my question: Are those for cufflinks? Those shirts are not dress shirts but casual shirts.

If they have 2 button barrel cuffs, then there should be 2 buttons.
Casual shirts and cufflinks do not go together.
