Stay away from this seller: (s)he lies outright about the retail prices of his/her items, as the auction to which you linked evidences.

(The suit is junk and worth - at retail - a few hundred dollars, at most.)

Thanks--it didn't smell right ('course I was hoping it was a small, quality brand that flies under the radar, sort of like Belvest).

Canaletti is made by Canali, and is generally recognized as their highest label. After you buy the Canaletti, go to a 7-11 store and buy some Crystalino champagne, which is made by Crystal and is generally considered Crystal's premium product. If you'd like, celebrate your Canaletti purchase with not only the Crystalino, but also some Spam, which is an expensive patte that is sold exclusively in the canned food aisle at supermarkets.

"Canaletti is the Brother Italian Fashion House" of the famed NALDINI Suit and Menswear Division of fine fashion"
I have never closely looked at one of those auctions, but that is an amazing comment. Good thing about this forum is that we look out for each other. I am sure that Naldini and its "brothers" have been mentioned a dozen times before, and we still answer instead of ignoring or yelling at posters to do a search as is common on other boards.

I liked this part: "Canaletti is the Brother Italian Fashion House" of the famed NALDINI Suit and Menswear Division of fine fashion"  LO-freaking-L.
What does that even mean? I had never caught that comment on the ebay auction -- that is freaking hysterical...

I obviously did do a search on both this forum and Andy for Canaletti, which turned up nothing, hence my question. If I had queried "Nardini", my question would have been answered.

Anyway, I appreciate the responses and the warnings.

What does that even mean?

It means they couldn't think of anything better to say about the suit, which does not speak well about the quality.
