Question about allen edmonds bel air last

So I wanna get a pair of the Bel Air, but with this last I'm not sure about the sizing.
I have an old pair of Allen Edmonds Dundee in 10 D which are a bit constricting in the width...My foot width is around 4.0-4.2

I was wondering if I had to choose between a 9D and 9EEE which would work better for the Bel Air and the 0 last?
Do you think they will be able to stretch?

Find a shoe on the same last and buy them from a place like zappos that has free shipping and returns.

Ae shoes are known to fit widely different between models of the same last .
