Question about a three-quarter coat

Is a three-quarter coat suppose to have a vent in the back? Mine doesn't have one and although it doesn't obstruct my ability to walk properly, it does make it hard to sit down comfortably for the first time.

That is a bit odd. Most coats have a vent.

Seriously, I would usually think it's because there was stitching holding it together, but the photo on their website doesn't suggest that. If you're not happy with it because of this reason you can always take it back and get one of their other coats.
