I realize this is a men's style forum, but you all seem to be more keyed in on quality, while most of women's clothing, etc disregards quality. I want to buy a nice wallet for my gf, who makes high quality leather goods from the italian/french designers? Gucci? Prada? Chanel?

Somehow I get a mail order catalogue from Levenger that has some decent looking stuff in.

If she's eccentric, Vivienne Westwood. Fashion credibility included.
If she's modern, Comme Des Garcons. Go bold. Patent red, maybe?
If she's hip, Proenza Schouler. Check out their site. Go for the fabric wallet. Great print!
If she's practical, Louis Vuitton.

Everything else is kind of just designer blah and difficult to wade through, no?
