Hi all,
Looking for a nice winter piece to appease my partner who is sick of my Patagonia Hoody wearing ways every day. I really like a few jackets from both these brands (and made in USA is nice) but information on them online is scarce. Does anyone have any experience with them, either quality of materials, durability or customer service.

Since I wear mostly outdoors brands i'm used to cloths that can take a thrashing and I wear my nicer bits and pieces quite a lot. Sure Im lucky enough to be able to afford to get new things every so often but thats no excuse for shoddily made clothes (I'm looking at you Rick Owens). If Patagonia can make an indestructible jacket for $250 with a lifetime warranty and great company ethics someone should be able to make a trendy version for double that.

For what its worth my partner is actually a legend and I tease her constantly by constantly wearing Birkenstocks, hard-shells and climbing pants but it'd be nice to surprise her at dinner for once :)

If we collectively don't think these guys are what i'm looking for i'm open to suggestions. I like Real McCoy in Japan but that stuff is $$$.

If you're looking at their bomber jacket from last year, it seemed like they had some fit issues with that.

What sort of coat are you looking at in particular?
I was looking at the Dean bomber on the K&S page and a few others.

Im after a midweight 3 season bomber thats really well made but still cool. Brand agnostic so hit me with recs! Im 6"4 athletic build.
