I'm sending some of my babies to a new home ;)

So, if anyone is interested in some NOS (1 used pair) Made in England Grenson shoes (G-One, Rose, Masterpiece/G-Zero) from times when they weren't so fashion minded as nowadays check it out:

These are absolutely gorgeous models. Unfortunately they're not my size.
Good luck with the sale.

Cross post from the brogues thread.
These 'Albert' MiE are currently on sale in the Grenson site for a mere £ 180 (for UK customers - EU guys, beware of carrier and customs fees!)
I didn't know the 82 last they are made on, but found that's very true to size.

I like my Grenson shoes. Bought this pair in white canvas 5 years ago.
Still my favorite summer shoes!?

Can anyone share pics or opinions of the Triple Welt line? Especially the Archies? They aren't cheap but have a unique aesthetic.

I have two pairs, one is archie and the other one is curt, both made from scotchgrain leather.

Not sure why they are called triple welt since there are only 2 welt on the shoes.

If you are looking for quality you will find they are well overpriced. leather is definitely below tricker, cj, cheaney etc..

The styling is gorgeous paired with casual style.

Fit large, one of the widest G fitting in my collection, definitely go half size down.

I don't have anything to add here except that I just ordered my first pair of Grenson shoes, the Lloyd penny loafer in cigar nubuck, and I'm looking forward to getting them. I've been watching the brand for a decade but never tried them out. It just worked out that this particular loafer is in the exact style, shape and color that I want and I couldn't find something that checked all of my boxes from any other brands in the below $500 range. In fact, they were below $300 on sale. I'm not expecting the utmost in quality but I'm optimistic that they'll do the trick. I'll report back after some wear.

These get a walk every now and then (today), had em 24 + years and still get admiring looks and comments.

They get looked after, very kindly when required, on the bench at C & J Northampton.

1000

Wonder how these are doing today at 31 years old.

My 2 pairs are still going strong, though a few years younger than your 6208's.

The tan pair gets sent off to Grenson soon for a full recraft. Will post pictures when they are done.

For archival purposes, a part of my NOS made in England Grenson shoes and boots to show what they could pull off in the past.

I've been reading previous posts here and could not find answers whether Grenson G Zero is just a new name for Grenson Masterpiece line? are there any quality differences?

The reason I ask because I own both old stock Grenson and recent Grenson shoes which all are made in england. I know recent Greson shoes are known for bad value but that stigma are generally for their made in India shoes.

Please give your opinion since quality of hand made shoes can vary from shoes to shoes.

I have a pair of Grenson Warren Chelsea boots in snuff suede on a Dainite sole. Think they may possibly be the rose line as they're a few years old. I have a few nice pairs of shoes/boots, Bally Scribe made in Switzerland, Loake, Barker, Red Wings, and the Grenson Chelsea boots are one of my favourites both in quality and style. I got them new for €90. Bargain. Well this thread kind of led me to another bargain as I was doing my research on sizing for the Archie. Just ordered the dark brown on Commando sole half size down from my usual. €80. Less than most trainers in JD and a hell of a lot nicer!

Left to right, Stuart's Choice by Grenson, Foot the coacher by Grenson, Grenson Masterpiece, Grenson Footmaster. All reminiscence from the past, I found none of what Grenson selling now days are as high quality as what they used to made.

I think Warren are made in India and from their G2 collection. Anything with the red insole with the big "G" logo are made in India. I'm glad to hear from you that that the quality are great. I bought several G2 Collection around 10 years ago and was disappointed. However, with the price you are paying I wouldn't complain.
