Quality of Fratelli Rossetti Shoes?

I am a size EEE (perhaps wider) and have difficulty finding shoes that fit comfortably. For work I wear American brands that are available in wide widths: Alden, AE, & J&M handmades. However, I don't fit into most European made shoes. Unless I opt for bespoke, I feel quite limited. During the past week, I have been searching for a pair of chelsea boots. I visited Barneys, BG, Saks and R.M. Williams, but couldn't even get my foot halfway into most of the shoes / boots I tried on. Earlier today, I strolled into Fratelli Rossetti on Madison Ave. and was able to fit comfortably into almost evey pair that I tried on. I purchased 2 pair of boots/ 1 pair of shoes that look and feel great. How do they rate in terms of quality?

Their website shows some classic designs and some that are a bit fashion forward for my taste. I can assume that you have exhausted your options for wider English shoes? I didn't see a price for any of the shoes listed on the website (I only made a cursory glance), have you considered having some shoes made for you? Are you planning to return the shoes if members can point you to online or mailorder sources that can accommodate your size or are you asking for future reference? I don't know if your search was limited to FR, Barneys, SFA, BGs and RM Williams but, if it was, you still have lots of options.

I own a number of English shoes in G width. I purchased them in London a few years ago, as I used to travel there frequently. However, I am reluctant to purchase w/o trying on first, as even many brands/styles in G width don't fit properly. As for bespoke, that seems like my best option. But every once in a while - like today - I find good-fitting shoes in unexpected places.

Do they still have sale or they are all back to regular prices?

They still have many (approx. 30 + styles) on sale. Got mine at 40% off.

Fit is always the most important thing. If the shoes are comfortable, you're way ahead.
