  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

I love the sizing and fit options with Canali. Besides a couple suits and sportcoats, I’m a fan of their knit polos. I like it that they manufacture their own clothing. I do try to buy at discount prices but have paid full pop for a few essentials which fit me well.
Thank you for pointing out the polos, I didn't know theirs were good. I will have a look, as I do like Canali knitwear too. I had a few years back a black V-neck in superfine wool-cashmere-silk blend that my brother snatched away, it was really really nice.

RTW brands like Canali, Corneliani i consider the true minimum RTW suits for all ages a step above Suitsupply Boggi etc Overall you get what you pay for. But in terms of knitwear at that price segment, no, only maybe if the fit construction and design is something that you like and no other compromises

Canali's asking prices have become optimistic. Good stuff when it's on sale.
