Quabaug was basically Vibram USA until they were sold in 2015 to Vibram international....I've become interested and I wonder if anyone can shed any light on the way these companies used to operate. I've read that the Red Wing Christy sole is in fact Vibram so I wonder if they've had different divisions over the years and made soles that didn't say Vibram especially when the US had many Boot and Shoe factories...I present 2 boots from the same company now defunct..BB Walker...One with the traditional Vibram logo...the other "Oil Resistant"? Seems odd that a company would go through all the trouble to make a "counterfeit" sole themselves when they could simply buy them from Vibram.
