Q: Taking in pants. Can pleats be added?

    I'm looking at a suit where I'll be taking in the flat-front 36 pants to 32s. I was wondering - with that much being taken in, could I have pleats "added"? Has anyone else had experience in such a (crazy?) endeavor?

    Before the flat-front brigade chides me for pleats, with my height and size I look better with pleats rather than flats.

    Appreciation in advance!

    It may be possible but I cannot be certain without seeing the trouser and how they fit you.

    have done a few times sometimes good sometimes not so good. like chris says let your tailor make the judgment.
