Just won this item on ebay

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEWA:IT

What would go well with this? Anything on the slightly more casual side? I usually wear a full suit or a jeans ensemble or dress pants and sleek sports coat, so I wasn't sure how to accomodate this coat with my "style."

And this also seems like some kind of a SB-DB cross?

That's some cool, 70's swank you got there. And I do mean that as a compliment.

That works with jeans, chinos, slacks, but not to work, well, depending on where you work. I would wear it in a business casual environment, but then I have been known to be fairly adventurous.

    I pronounce it rockin'.

Very sharp. Guaranteed to go with Oxxford suit and Peal briefcase. [IMG]

I like it. Not sure I'd wear it with a sportcoat, though, as it's only 33" long. I'd wear it more as a fun casual coat, over sweaters and the like in the fall/early spring.

Think of it as casual outerwear, don't wear it with a tie.

AlanC--good memory. Speaking of which, I think your swimming trunks on the avatar would go well with a pair of Schubert loafers, but hey...I'm just speculating...

Thanks for the advice all. I knew it looked handsome as a stand alone piece but wasn't sure what to wear it with.

I like it. To be used as pea-coat, with jeans, khakis or cords, and possibly turtle-neck, I think.
