Q. Bose In-Ear Headphones

I've been thinking about purchasing these for a while http://www.bose.com/controller?event...adphones_index I have been very hesitant about it because it is out of my budget. Before anything else I would like to ask a few questions.
1) Does its price justify the product ?
2) Does anyone know anything about bose outlet ?

If someone has this some reviews on it would be great. Thanks !

I have never dealt with their in ears--- but they're over the ear headphones are amazing.

Our house family room has a Bose system as does my bedroom. In my opinion, you get every cent you pay for with Bose.

I don't know about the Bose in ears but if it's anything like the rest of their products.. I'd say no.

Like I said, I don't know about the Bose in ears. They may be excellent for all I know. I think Bose makes a good noise canceling headphone. But the home theater systems and radios are not very good.

Maybe I got lucky. Ours work and sound great! Then again, I didn't pay for it, so my opinion may be a bit jaded haha

Try the Etymotic ER-6i's which can be had for $75 on Amazon. They blow the bose headphones out of the water.

I own these. My wife bought them for me for Christmas. They fit your ears nicely, but the sound is not worth the $99. (I didn't tell her that though). They don't sound much better than my iPod earphones although they do stay in the ear very well. I can wear them while exercising and they don't fall out. I can't say that for iPod earphones.

Be aware that these are not the style that totally block your ear canal, there is some air/noise allowed in and that can be good, if that is what you need (for hearing traffic or other safety reasons). These are also not noise canceling.

I have owned a pair of the original Bose over the ear noise canceling headphones since 2003 and they have been on every plane flight with me in the last five years. I love them.

Any brand that has such a substantial hater following should be avoided, imho.

This rules out about 95% of products on the market, in any market.

I mentioned in the a different thread that Starbucks was the Bose of coffeeshops. The converse holds true. No highs, no lows? Must be Bose! as they say.

Etymotic for in-ear headphones, and Sennheiser/Grado/AKG/etc. for closed- and open-back. Noise-cancelling is a gimmick.

I just bought them. Pretty good sound although they are a little heavy on the Bass. I may look at some other options and return them though.

As for Bose in general. The Bose stereo I had in my last car was hands down the best stock car audio I've ever heard. Granted it wasn't cheap, but the sound was simply amazing.

You are not going to find a lot of people who agree with you. All Bose products offer very poor value proposition. Why do you think their in-store displays are always set apart from competing products? It's becasue they don't want the customers to compare their products to competing products in the same price range and find out how inferior Bose is.

I was just speaking from experience. I've had other systems and I've had Bose. Bose has always been the best that I've had, but on the other hand, my experience with different product lines is relatively small.
