I know there are a lot of supporters of Put This On here on SF. We just launched our Kickstarter for season two. Below are the details, I hope we can have your support.

Put This On is a web series about dressing like a grown-up. In our first series, we took on big ideas in men's style. We met men who personified elegance, craft and aesthetic passion. We even shared a few goofy tips and tricks. For series two, we're going to take on the big places. Three world style capitals, selected by our viewers.

This time, we're doing it professional-style. We'll be bringing me—the host, Jesse, Thorn—plus a director and a producer to these three cities. There, we'll crew up and investigate what makes these cities so special. We'll probably make some stupid jokes, too.

Travel and crew costs are no joke, of course. Our fundraising goal is $68,000. From that, we plan to make at least two episodes in every city we visit, and pay for equipment, staff time, shooting and editing. We've got tons of rewards—the folks who pay for our videos are producers, and we credit everyone. We've also got some fun stuff on offer, so be sure to check out the list. If you're a business and you'd like to sponsor the series or an episode, we can make that happen, too—email us at [email protected].

Kickstarter's principles are simple: if we don't meet our goal, you won't pay anything, and we won't get anything. If you want to see season two of our show, we've got to make this happen.

Everything that's gone right with Put This On has come from our viewers. We've brought the invitation to fund season two directly to you, and we hope you can fulfill it. If you want to see Put This On take on the world, support season two, now.

If I get entertainment and information from reading Put This On, what is the harm in sending some cash their way for a project?

Thanks, DrFaustus.

It's not an act of charity. We're asking our viewers, who have enjoyed the blog and the first seven episodes, to pay for the second series if they want to watch it. If we don't reach the goal, nobody pays anything. People can pay what they want, and people aren't obliged to pay anything, but it costs us money to produce the show, so folks who want to see it put some money towards that cost.

I really enjoyed the first season and learned a lot. I didn't contribute to the first season, but I'll definitely be contributing to season two.

Nice job, Jesse! Looking forward to the new season.

We just broke 18% of our goal - approaching $20,000.

And in related news, StyleForum has a block button :).

While I'm here, Jesse, have you considered a trip to Northampton while you're in London? I feel an English shoe episode coming on...

Considered it, but it seems a little silly given everything that's available to us in London. Definitely very open to ideas in these three cities, by the way.

We're now at 21% - over 300 supporters, and just short of $15,000. My thanks to everyone who wants to see a second season of our show.

I stumbled across the blog (someone here linked it) and I promptly watched every episode thinking to myself, "why haven't I seen this on TV???" then realized it was a web show. I was amazed there weren't more episodes. I'd imagine others share my sentiment, and I'm definitely on the out there peacock side of dressing. Still I thoroughly enjoyed what I saw.

Contemplating how much to donate....

As long as the mods don't say YA is doing anything wrong here, I have no problem with them perpetuating a good thing, especially that it's in concert with the very things we come here to discuss. For those of you who don't like it, you do have the option to act like gentlemen and avoid this thread. Replying with your concerns is just proving damaging to yourselves.

One.

I like to imagine that NORE is actually N.O.R.E. aka Noreaga of Capone and Noreaga.
