They're genuinely hand-rolled. No roller involved, just fingers. I love a nice, full round edge.
What is this association?
"Gentlemen" is also part of the name of GQ's charity arm, the Gentleman's Fund.
GQ of course stands for Gentleman's Quarterly.
Re: the pictured square: very nice, Marinella-ish.
Well, I won't say who the silk for this round of squares was printed for before it made its way into my hands, but I will say that you are a well-informed consumer and a very good guesser. OVERALL. In this case, of course, I will not reveal for whom the silk was made. I would say that a well-informed consumer who was also a good guesser might be able to figure it out, but WHO KNOWS who that might be.
Poor camera phone pic of the other square that hasn't been posted.
Has anyone received their Feb square? I've been eagerly awaiting mine, but no sign of it yet
They went to fulfillment on the first. They go out first class, so they should start arriving soon. Our fulfillment house is a one-woman operation, she does the packing and shipping by hand, so they don't literally all get shipped in one day.
Excellet. Thanks for the info, Jesse!
I think you'll be really happy with this round's squares. There's two colorways of the same style, and they're a very fine wool, printed in England by a very famous print house with the initials L of L .
I received mine today, very nice. Here's a photo of one of the colors. Taken in direct sun, color is fairly true in this photo.
League of Extraordinary iGentlemen?
Only in the sense that we have POWERS.
Here are some shots of the other, though my iPhone camera doesn't do this beautiful square justice.
Here's a pic from Twitter of the other colorway from this round.
