I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the maker of these RLPL cap toes.

Thanks.

If they are an 11D, send them to me and I will undertake a complete and thorough inspection and inform you of their maker..

I'm afraid they'd be a little snug, as they're a 10.

I have suffered for fashion in the past, but those days are over. There is nothing more excruciating than ill-fitting shoes.

Thanks. I was curious, as they say "Made in Italy" on them and they're Purple Label.

Do you think that perhaps they aren't really PL and the seller has switched boxes?

A fair number of these (in varying styles) were showing up on eBay a while back. IIRC, the consensus was that they are made by an unidentified factory in Italy and don't quite reach Purple Label standards. They were all sold in similar boxes, which don't appear to say Purple Label anywhere.

I guess I should have waited, but in my excitement at finding $250 RLPL shoes I hit the Buy It Now button without doing any research and now they're on their way.

Well, I need some chocolate brown shoes for a suit I just bought, so I suppose they'll do.

Thanks. That's what I'm thinking. I'll reserve final judgment until I see them in real life, though. I'll let you know how they turn out...

There's about five dozen threads on this site about these exact shoes and the confusing purple boxes.

Okay. Now I'm starting to think that I should try and cancel this order. I feel ripped off already.
