Purple label dress shirts

I have heard that Purple Label dress shirts are made by Lorenzini. That makes me wonder how they fit. Are they full cut like Lorenzini are, or will it be a slimmer fit. There is a shirt on Ebay that I may want to place a bid on, just in case my Jantzen shirts don't come in time for my wedding (I had planned on wearing one of the Jantzen shirts I had ordered). But I won't bid if it's going to be ill-fitting. A slimmer cut works best on me.

I've never tried on any Purple Label dress shirts, but keep in mind that Lorenzini is a chameleon. They make shirts for a number of different labels, and they have the ability to do a staggering number of different styles and fittings.

They are a bit slimmer. But, I'll expand on that: I have a (for the lack of a better term) "˜swimmers build' (even though I hardly swim

), so I'm slim and athletic for my slim body (read: no body fat), and they are a bit large on me body-wise. I don't really care that they are a bit large, since I wear vests oftentimes and no one can tell that the shirt should really be taken in. They seem to be cut just like the RLPL shirts made by T&A, if that helps at all. Jon. P.S. Congrats.

Thank you, Jon. The price on the shirt I'm watching may be too good to pass up, as if I end up not needing it I assume I could resell it. I have a swimmer's build as well (I didn't write that at first because I thought it might sound weird

).

As jcusey says, the Lorenzini's from my experience were FAR from slim fitting, but they adapt.

The one RLPL shirt I have is generously sized. Brooks Brothers generous. The Lorenzini shirts I have cannot be called slim fitting either. Thus, don't bet on the one you're bidding on being slim fitting.

I agree that they are fairly full cut. Their web site (polo.com) is very deceptive - all of the Purple Label shirts are shown as being ultra-slim-fitting in the pictures, almost skin-tight, but this is not the case at all. They may be a little slimmer than Polo shirts, but not by much.

While everything you said about the website is true, none of the RLPL dress shirts are shown on the website, only the sport shirts.
