Purple label Anthony: Advise on size

Hey guys! So I’m a 38S. I ordered a Ralph Lauren PL(Anthony) from Barney’s on sale the other day in black but it was too tight around the waist so I returned it. So I was browsing Barneys again and the very same Anthony’s are on sale again at an even lower price($959); however, they’re final sale this time. So just to be sure about the size I went to my local Ralph Lauren Store & tried one in 38S & it was indeed too tight around the wait & slightly tight around the chest too. So the sales associate told me you could loosen it a bit. That’s not a problem. I took some some pics. Let me know what you guys guys think. Because I tried the 40 too & it was definitely not for me.

Shoulders are too wide.

You'd be quite limited on how much you can let it out at the waist.

It looks a little tight there, perhaps a couple of lbs too tight.

Is it the 38s we are looking at on your pics?

Yup, that’s a 38S. Think Shoulders & everything is just fine. It’s just the waist.
