1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Why? Raw just shrinks and stretches, while sanforized does exactly the opposite.

TBH, just going off my experiences w/ raws in the past with that blanket statement. Trying to do the "selective shrink" via tub-wears, etc just became a hassle; I'd rather start off with a baseline pair of o/w, which won't get smaller anywhere ever, and let them stretch out, rather than trying to juggle the shrink/stretch process.

+1 At these price points completely raw is just too big a gamble for me. O/W already has a bunch of variables in regards to stretch and further shrink so that is enough risk for me...

    I am so indecisive.
I need to stay off these forums.
    Just switched it to a 31 o\w

FWIW, I've done multiple raw and multiple o/w pairs of various japanese denim brands. All were properly researched and purchased at the "correct" size (regardless of which brand I'm addressing).

I've since flipped every raw pair, and kept every o/w pair.

Don't want to completely scare you from raws, but o/w is so much less of a headache.

Well... Fact is that the RAW pairs don't get smaller then their O/W counterparts. So there shouldn't be too much to worry about. When keeping minimal measurents in mind, sizing right is not that difficult. Atleast... This is my experience.

    my xx-012's just showed up.
I made sure to measure everything b4 I put them on and everything was perfect to the chart,.... except the wasit,....the 31 I got measured a 28!!!
I was scared but i could tell it was gonna work by how easy it stretched with just a little pull. I put them on and after only a minute I got all the buttons up. I'll get some pics up later when someone can take them because these damn smart phones cant balance on their own for crap.

Great fit. Might want to form the stacks a bit or get them hemmed just a little.

Can't you read or are you just being ignorant?

The stacks are a bit sloppy at the moment. He might want to set them by hand or get them shortened a bit, so the stacking falls better.

Oh and FFS stop posting the same pictures.

Huh? How do you set stacks by hand?

I'm really not sure if hirsh is trolling or not

You can manipulate the creases, so the stacks sit nicely.

Anyway... About Hirsh, don't care if it is trolling or not, she's posting everywhere, mostly non contributing garbage. What I stated towards Sillyboybmxer was solid advice. No need to state afterwards you like stacking better, while it is obvious that it doesn't look right at the moment. And to top it off, post a picture you posted three days earlier also.

How? By folding the creases one by one? I'm really lost here. I own a year old unbrandeds and the stacks are still flary

Well. You could try that. Most of the times people make the stacks wet, by using water from a spraycan. Manipulate the creasing how you want it and let the starch do the rest for ya.

I've heard that the XX-012's aren't actually exclusive to BiG -- they just bought all of the stock on the last production. Does that mean there's hope of getting them from Rakuten or somewhere similar?
