I'm looking for a nice fitting, high quality pullover hoody (nonzip)...w/ minimal graphics...seems very hard to find in my experience thus far

i bought and immediately returned a rogues gallery shoreman hoody from bluefly...the fit was terrible...i got a S b/c they run long and sure enought, it was too long, but incredibly tight...so its clearly made for very tall skinny guys...also, the quality was nothing special at all

any suggestions?

Opening Ceremony's pull-overs have a pretty spot on fit, in my experience and they have usually had at least 1 or 2 minimalist but interesting designs. Sadly, the current line up is pretty ugly.

low to mid 100s, max...

i tried on a WH hoody recently....and needless to say its very nice; however, the fit is not perfect for me at least...a lil larger in the shoulers than i prefer...i think it might appear that way b/c of its thickness...

but lookin specifically for a pullover and non-zipup

I've been kicking myself for not picking up the Engineered Garments pullover hoodie last fall at Odin.

I second American Apparel. I have some of their zip-up hoodies and they are a terrific fit. I can only imagine that the pullovers would be the same.

Whatever you end up getting, make sure you actually try it on first. For some reason--maybe I'm just extra picky?--I find it almost as difficult to find a hoodie that fits as it is to find a pair of jeans that fit. For instance, for all the love they get, I find that AA hoodies fit me horribly. Nothing against AA, their hoodies just aren't for me.

I 2nd opening ceremony. The diamond logo one i've seen looks really good and i thought i saw a sufu member wearing one and the fit looked solid too. I don't think they're terribley expensive either. A sufu member was selling a used one for about $75 i think.

I'm kinda with sauce. I'm in between AA sizes so they don't fit me great. The medium flex fleece hoodie fits me well though unlike the normal ones. My roomate has an AA pullover and while he's not interested in fit and fashion really, it fits him pretty well.

Yea. Krell pullovers look like the best as far as fit is concerned but they're not very thick. It's almost a tshirt hoodie from the looks of it. They don't really seem comparable to the other hoodies being reccomended. Except for the interlock one, that's the only pullover he has, the arm pocket ones don't look like the kind of hoodie people are talking about in this thread.

I'm talking about the interlock one, and yes its thicker than you think. Unless of course you've handled one in which case our opinions would just differ.
