Public transit blows

So I planned on taking the bus to the airport this morning. They run one from campus to the terminal around the holidays, and I gave it a shot for Thanksgiving. Relatively painless.

But I should've known I Was pushing my luck. This morning, I'm at the stop and the bus comes barreling down the street (10 minutes late mind you). I soon realized it wasn't in the near lane and a feeling of despair washed over me. The driver just flew past the Connetraveler!!! "Motherfucker!" I screamed.

So I took a taxi. **** public transportation.

haven't had a second car since my other lease ran out.

I always make sure I wave at an approaching bus that I intend to board. Since I don't color-match the complexion of most of the other people on the bus, I have to make my intentions clear, that is, that I want a ride on the machine.
