1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    I'd actually be inclined to go 8.5G. I am a 8EEE in AE MacNeil Cordo and a 7.5-8G in UK brands including Church. A bit of extra length never hurt.

    Ged

    thanks ged, I'm inclined to agree with you, appreciate the feedback!

    I just wrote a script to find all available shoes and sizes and it will update to me every 15 minutes [IMG] FYI, there are 2 UK12 right now, but a minute ago there is a UK8.5, somebody was lucky

    Yea, I was just lucky. My point was for other posters to go back every once in a while and just check. You might get lucky too. I can barely check email and you're writing scripts like that? Wow. Just wow.

    How does that work?

    Something like:

    int qty = 0;
    foreach (AwesomeShoe as in TRLWebsite.Saleshoes)
    {
    foreach(ShoeSize ss in as.Sizes)
    {
    if (ss.QtyAvailable > 0)
    {
    qty+= ss.QtyAvailable;
    }
    }
    }
    if (qty > 0)
    {
    EmailOnyx("Shoes available!")
    }
    else
    {
    [IMG]
    }

    I think they block the server where my script located

    Thank you for your interest in our shoe stock levels. Unfortunately, your script is hitting the server too often, is testing product codes which don't exist and is going to find little of interest - we have had very, very few returns.

    If you would like to be informed about returns on shoes, please contact richard@thinredline.com and we will try to organise something for you.

    Best regards,

    Lol, I don't think I drain that much of bandwidth from them...

    I dont know. Because if they are then they should have had size selection so that we don't have to click every single shoes to see which one is still available.

    It's been a while since the confirmation window supposedly closed. Does anyone know what is happening with this event? I thought to email TRL, but didn't want to be a pest if several others have already done so.

    While I'm fine with the already mentioned time table for delivery, I have to say that my interest is beginning to wane as this drags on (and I see other similar shoes I could have next week [IMG] ).

    I emailed Richard yesterday to confirm he'd received my confirmation, and he had, but he didn't say much else.

    I used to doubt that these were AS since others had only cited the similar nail pattern. Then someone (clintonf?) recently posted pics of his brand new MTO AS in the shoe pron thread. The medallion is exactly the same as the one used on the TRL half brogues: distinctive medallion which sorta looks like a dragonfly to me... As an aside, I cancelled my preorder. Their stock F width isn't a great fit for me and I was too damn lazy to e-mail them to order shoes in a narrower fitting.
