The Wire is probably the best cop show drama ever made. A friend recommended this to me years ago and I was really impressed. It was as real as a cops can get. IDK why its on sale on itunes but if you have 64.95 to spend on 60 hours(5 seasons) of great entertainment then do it! Season 1 was a bit slow but once the show kicks into high gear it is a pure entertainment. In addition, if you choose to google this, i think the show was named "the most intelligent show on tv" by many critics.
