1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

PS: They run a half size large (unlike the Marlow wingtip).

I saw these in the RL store in Soho like a week ago, but only in sizes 10 and up. Did they restock or something?

    I got them in Manhasset.

Also, they look 1000x better on the foot.

    Yucky.

I have to agree with the dissenters here. I've seen this shoe in real life and it's kinda ugly. It would have been much better as a plain-toe chukka.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was pretty awesome. I was planning on getting the alden sude chukka, but I might go for this now...hmmm.

Sorry but I also say 'yucky'. Why would RL discontinue the McCallum chukka and replace it with this?

I don't know if the McCallum is actually discontinued, or out of stock due to various shortages that I've heard have been going around (I think I've heard others mention that they're waiting longer than normal for cordovan for shoes to be made).

This particular pattern has been available from RL for some time. I have the Gifford in suede with a ridgeway sole from at least 5 years ago - and I purchased them through GVH, which probably means this pattern was in the stores 7 to 10 years ago.
