S=Alfred Sargent. In terms of the Brooks shoes, I don't see why people get so caught up in the distinction. I'd imagine both companies make to Brooks' specs. Does anyone have concrete experience suggesting one is noticeably superior to the other when it comes to the Peals?

Quality of A&S calf has gone down lately. Suedes still rock though.

N.B. they do not have leather soles as advertised, but dainite soles.
