Hi all,
I passed through a Marshalls out in NJ today - I think it was East Hanover? - and they had a small stack of Santoni Fatte A Mano shoes for $199 a pair; they also had Churchs shoes for $149 a pair; and I saw at least 3 pair of very nice looking Polo Ralph Lauren suits (Made In Italy) @ $399 (I believe they were all 40R and 40L).

This seemed like a pretty remote Marshalls so it might be worth a trip to your local Marshalls - perhaps each store got a little bit of this stuff in.

Yeah, I was surprised by the PRL suits. Very nice condition - not the usual beat-down Marshalls stuff. They still had the nice wood Polo hangars too.

But Santoni is not really my style and the Churchs were all smaller than 9.

Do you recall the model and/or color of the suits? Was in a Marshalls today, they had nothing of any interest.

Santoni FAM at Marshalls? HOLY CRAP!!! I haven't checked them out in a long time but the closest I've ever seen was Timberland or Cole Haan. Amazing!

This might sound rude considering you're doing us a favor, but this kind of PSA is a bit anti-climatic.

One was a Polo IV doublebreasted in 40R, I believe it was a charcoal grey with a very small but solid windowpane pattern. The second was a 3 piece 40L, dark grey POW with a subtle purple or lilac in the pattern. The third was a Garrison model in 40R, dark green tweed. This may have also been a 3 piece.

These were pretty easy to spot because they were literally the only suits with a dark wooden hangar - it was the same color as the burnished wood RLPL shoe trees. Every other suit had a black or tan hangar.

I hear what you're saying, but I thought it was worth a shout out to anyone near that Marshalls who wears a 40R or likes Santoni. I also figured there might be a shot that similar stock made it to other locations so might be worth checking out if you're near one.

I can edit if the title if you guys think its misleading . . .

Hmmmm, going to be in the area tomorrow, might have to see if I can rearrange my schedule a bit.

Thanks for the PSA and the info, Philo.

When you walk in, go left towards the mens section. The Santoni's should be in the first row of shoes. The suits are all spaced out but like I said, look for those wooden hangars. The grey 3-piece might not have had one, but that suit was in the first row of suits (the row closest to the registers), at the end closest to you, maybe 5-10 suits in.

Good luck!

My local Marshalls had some Santoni, Santoni FAM as well. I was there over the weekend. Both were priced same. None was my size, so I didn't pay a close attention to them. I didn't see any Church's, but a lot of Tods.

I picked up a nice PRL sport coat (Polo I model, slim fit). Ultra soft material (60% cashmere & 40% silk). Close to $400 after tax.

Oh, this is Marshalls @schaumburg/IL.

Thanks PV. These kinds of PSAs are one of the reasons I love SF, whether my Marshall's has them or not.
