    I've found the LBM 1911 unstructured jackets are fantastic for casual /semi-dress wear. They're hard to find in general, and typically > $800 (which is a great price considering the garments).

    Yoox has a fair amount of the S/S line of jackets for sale (36-44) for under $200, or in some cases under $300.

    I bought one of each color in my size of every one they had. That's how much I like them.

    Tempting, but they look really short.

    Style and pricewise they are quite Boglioli-like. How do the two compare from a quality perspective? I think that Boglioli's mainline, coat and k series are of middling quality at best, but quite stylish in a Pitti Uomo sort of way.

    What's the length on these like? I got a few Bogliolis at the YE sale and they were all a bit too Thom Brownish in length, so back the went. Are the LBMs the same?

    Wow, how did I miss these yesterday when I was browsing Yoox.
    I picked up 3 of them! I have a navy twill one I paid about $200 more for that they are selling in my size. :(

    Here are measurements to my two button jacket size 52 (42R[us])

    P2P = 22" (laying as flat as naturally can) 20" seam to seam.
    S2S = 18.5" (front)
    Length = ~28.75" (front, about center of shoulder to bottom)
    Sleeve = ~25" (the seam measures 18" from armpit)

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks. A fairly standard measurement for SF is the length from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the jacket in the back. Can you provide that measurement for your 42r?

    Awesome!

    Bought in my size, making for a total collection of six of these. I find they are fantastic for casual wear - like wearing a sweater! When I see these for a good price, I usually get them.

    They are not Boglioli in quality (normal since the retail price is double for Boglioli). You can find them easily in Italy for 250-350 Euros. Here in Switzerland they are terribly expensive, I paid about 350USD (on sale this winter) for one in washed wool.

    During my last trip to Milano in February, I went to Il Salgagente outlet, there were plenty of LBM from last season for about 150-200 euros (mostly in cotton). I preffered to buy 2 Boglioli and a Corneliani, slightly more expensive.
    The LBM are really short and slim, fine if you have a fit body.
