but 70% off sale items? not too bad, i'll go have a look tomorrow.

typically their sales blow. 40% off a 2000 retail coat is still way too much for mass produced varvatos crap, but if it's more like 70-90% off retail, it might be worth a look.

I went there and no suits on sale from what i saw but alot of great coats and overcoats from their mainline.
Im so biased by the economy induced sales these days i thought this was a coupon to take an additional 70 percent off the already reduced sale price.

They informed me it was only 70 percent off retail. ("Only 70 percent" wow thats how spoiled ive become).

However, some good coats. I love their wool charcoal blazer with leather lapel. 1300 down to 390.

Hey sho', I was there around 6:45 and took a look. I saw that blazer, it's was pretty nice. Saw a nice leather jacket, retail 1885 or so. Great looking gray wool 3/4 coat with epaulets, retail $1485, but at over $400, more than I want to spend. I didn't mention the 70%, and was only going to if I was buying something, but damn, 70% and still expensive!

Did you notice where the clothes were made? I forgot to look.

I dont have any tact i just went straight in there with the coupon held outstretched in front of me in hand like i was issuing them a search warrant.

Maybe that is why they said only 70 percent off retail ?

The mainline was made in italy the wool items but the mainline leather some were made in china.
The USA line most was made in china.
They had a Limited line (which wasnt on sale) in a leather lilitary style jacket which was way rad.
