If anyone is looking for a formal slipper in black velvet with a crest in a UK12/US 12.5, I just got off the phone with Bob and that's all they have in the size. Apparently they are fielding a lot of calls still.

I warned Bob yesterday.

Told him a bunch of crazy people will call. Sure proved me right

The funny thing is, while I was there he brought out nearly all the available EG models and I was having a good old time trying them on. Quite a few other people were browsing the sales rack where these shoes were, and I swear nobody look at the EG's. I wonder if the price turned them off. Even at the discounted price they are still consider pricey by the average Joe.

Man, all of a sudden Alberts are falling from the sky for me. First the Church's, then the Barker Blacks, now this. Called and spoke with a very nice Mary Ann who said she has them in 11 & 12.5/13. Price is like $268.14.

Sounds right per the SA's description. They have one in black in a size 10.5 US for only $357.

It's a sweet shoe. I just can't wear the 888 last and I don't need them in black.
