PSA: De Corato Sample Sale; Borrelli 7-fold ties $50 each

De Corato is having a sample sale until March 13th at 14 E 60th Street, Suite 200 Average selection of shirts, sweaters, polos, outerwear, trousers. Compared to last year, kind of a disappointment. However, the tie selection is an absolute goldmine. 100s of Borrelli 7-fold ties at $50 apiece. I picked up 5. Should have bought a lot more, but I've been going nuts with ties this past year. (sorry for the crappy iphone photos; the lighting is terrible - none of the ties are shiny, all are matte printed silk)

How many did they have?

They had maybe 500-1000? Hard to estimate since they were pretty tightly packed side-by-side in plastic sleeves.

Many were more "soporific" than the ones I bought, including solids in brown, olive green, orange, bright red, and brick red.

I'm not big into proxying/B&S, but if someone makes me an offer and specifies what ties they want, I'll see what I can do.

Some solid bright reds and brown would be nice. Happy to pay finder fee of 10% and if more SFers do the same it should be worth your while to make another trip.

Just checked it out. Theres De Corato branded shirts/pants/SCs (all 70% off. Dress shirts were $385 retail), along with the Borelli ties @ 50$ plus some Borelli shirts ($425 @ 80% off). Also another brand with some sweaters/pants/SCs at 80% off.

The tie selection was pretty solid as of 11AM today. Some soporific stuff, and also some brighter spring/summer colors. Grabbed a bright green one for myself, probably should've gone for a few more.
