I got em in the mail...they are brown, hershey's chocolate poopy brown. I think it's a waxed suede. There's an Achilles in same material I think.

To be honest I prefer the beige and grey, in that order.

u mind throwing some pics up? i am interested in seeing them... I just kopped the grey and beige a few minutes ago... damn cheap prices are too good to pass up!!! I have waaayyy to many sneaks now all bnib, 5 pairs of CP's, 3 Pairs of Spring Courts, 1 PF Flyer, 1 Clae... this needs to stop

Material on the choco is identical to that on the beige. Reasonably sturdy, waxy. As you know, the grey is different, quite supple and thin....feel like it's gonna rip any minute. Taken with POS telephone:

There is also a darker, sturdier waxed suede grey, which was released for FW08. The pair shown there was released for SS08.

I actually wouldnt mind if it was the thinner, less sturdy grey as I am hoping to be wearing these in the summer... both pairs should be here on saturday so Ill know shortly. Cant believe how dark those browns are either, I was thinking something much lighter than that.

My DB's just came in the mail today and they are SICK!!! went with the grey and biege style 1916... I was really surprised with the leather. It is not your normal suede, these are very distressed, cant tell if they are the waxed version, but they def. arent your run of the mill clarks suede DB's. The style looks great too, hybrid between a boot and sneak. I think a pair of those Apolis officer pants would look great wit these!
