Visited Carl at CEGO with another SFer yesterday and he has just received an enormous shipment of killer shirtings. I chose 8 in a mix of linens and cottons.

I recommend anyone in the NY area whose considering giving bespoke a try, drop in at CEGO.

I always thought that CEGO was MTM. I guess he does bespoke as well.

A custom pattern is cut from what I know. Hence, he is bespoke.

Carl offers both, if I'm not mistaken. And aportnoy is right on with the material. A few wild patterns, but also an awful lot of really attractive cloth. It took a lot of reserve to not buy and buy and buy and buy.

So is his price point for each shirt (same fabric) for MTM order any different than his pattern drafting, bespoke service?

+1.

Thank you for enunciating a cardinal truth that doesn't get said enough here. I take it by "maker" you mean the shirtmaker?
