PSA: Brooks Brothers (Manhasset)

I was in Brooks Brothers' Manhasset location yesterday and saw an absolutely fantastic deal. I only noticed it in size 39 but I'm sure it applies to other suit sizes considering the store's vast selection.

There are a large number of suits for sale for $698. In size 39 I saw a Greenfield Golden Fleece marked down from $1900 to $698 and a really nice Italian Golden Fleece marked down from $2400 to $698. Brooks Brothers is currently offering $400 off of the second suit if you buy two so that would make it $996 for $4300 of suits. Furthermore, the sales associate offered to hold anything I wanted until the 25% starts but I am not sure if the $400 off will be going on then.

Also... the sales associate told me that the Manhasset BB is near to the owner of Brooks Brothers home so that store has hand picked employees and stock since "it is his baby." The associate (Jim [who knew his shoes very well]) also told me that Martin Greenfield lives nearby and occasionally drops in to see how things are doing. He waxed nostalgic about Greenfield breaking up his sales since the customers were not buying MG suits.

how can we tell what bb suits are MG? who makes the italian suits?

Made in USA Golden Fleece suits are MG.

i went to the store in manhassat today actually and the selection was great. There are two types of golden fleece suits up for sale, the $1900 and the $2400. I don't see what is so special about the 1900 one, it looks like a regular suit, but the 2400 suits are fantastic top quality. Enjoy it.
