SAs at the stores usually don't like it when you return merchandise purchase from catalogue. They always have attitude so I try to avoid it, when you send it back to the catalog,it usually take 3 weeks for your return to be processed. I think it is more that is difficult to do the data entry on the return since the receipt from an online purchase is not barcoded and it isn't something they do very often. So probably more just not wanting to involve the manager/look ignorant in front of a customer then "attitude". I agree you should make them deal with it.
