I'm normally not one for the double-breasted cardigan, but I like the one in the PS line.

PS Paul Smith is not too bad. Like any branded item, the quality price trade off does not err in favor of quality, but Paul Smith designs usually have an interesting appearance. In some sense, I see quite a strong correlation with other designer labels like Etro and Robert Graham.

Quality wise, I put PS Paul Smith shirts/sweaters in and around the Hugo Boss region. I have never seen the Paul Smith suits or sport coats, so am unsure on the quality of those, I hear they are not bad with many made in Italy ones being half canvassed.

I only have one or two items from this line I think. Certainly I have a plaid overcoat that's PS, very nice and gets worn quite a bit in the colder months. It's some years old now though, so I don't think I can talk intelligently as to current quality. From what I've browsed in shops though, the suits/shirts aren't particularly outstanding, but if you like the patterns/styles, why not?

Not bad if you can pull it off as it's very fashion forward.

I bought a pair of cords from the PS line and it looked like it was painted on (I returned it).

PS Paul Smith is the 3rd tier of the paul smith brands. It is ok lots of made in india portugal and china stuff, so quality is not stellar. The first tier, Paul Smith Mainline is the best, and i love the style although some of it is a bit avant-garde. The 2nd tier Paul Smith london is more conservative and more of an "everyday" style i used to like this line but now it just seems like a rich man's Ted Baker and has gotten way to commercialized.
