What will happen to me if I drink protein shake and I skip working out for that day or couple of days?

Nothing. You should be eating the same way whether you train that day or not. It's just a glass of food.

If you are a woman, you will grow a third nipple like Chandler Bing.
If you are a man, your pee will be frothy like the protein shake.

Of course nothing would happen. If you increase your food intake without a corresponding increase in exercise, you will gradually get fat.

In either case, you will fart. A lot.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. Just saying.

Nah. Despite the excess protein, it doesnt make me fart unlike baked beans.
If it makes you **** more, its a result of being lactose intolerant.

If you are lactose intolerant (**** more when taking whey protein shakes), does that mean all the protein is passing right through you, and none of it is being used for muscle building?

Is it even worth taking it in that case?

You can take lactose intolerant pills.
I cannot answer your question on whether all the protein bypasses your system if I dont take the pills. Could be true.

Lactose is the sugar in milk. I don't think lactose intolerance affects the digestion of any protein in milk.

LOL , what is so hard to understand?

Protein shake= calories with a major concentration in protein ofcourse.

So when you do not exercise, your body will use whats needed and store it as fat.

Erh... wrong. Protein is rarely ever metabolised into fat, except under some very strict conditions. Most often, excessive protein just becomes part of the body's excrement and gets dumped away.

FWLIW, I agree with you. Everything I've read suggests that excess protein is eventually converted to sugar or fat.
