Regarding this pre-owned Burberry coat I purchased a few months ago, what style would you call it? I've seen some of these coats (even by better stores) referred to as "trench coats" or "single-breasted trench coats" despite the fact they lacks some of the classic features one associates with the term - d.b., epaulets, etc. Or would you call it a "mac?" Or a "balmacaan?" None of these or something else? The coat is lightweight, I'm sure excellent for rain, and the lining is not removable. It does have some fine features, such as the buttoned cuffs for adjustment, the button to raise the collar in inclement weather, and the pass-through pockets, in case these make any difference in the coat's stylistic identification. Of course the sleeves are raglan. Thanks!
