• CALLING ON HOME SEWERS TO HELP HEALTHCARE WORKERS FIGHTING COVID-19

The lack of proper masks, gowns, and eyewear equipment is making it difficult for health workers to do their work fighting the novel coronavirus. In a recent New York Times article, medical workers said they were worried about how they can both fight the coronavirus without imperiling themselves, as well as their loved ones when they go back home.

If you are a home sewer, please consider helping my joining Hickey Freman Technical Vice President Jeffery Diduch in his effort to produce and deliver homemade gowns and masks to medical professionals in the greater Rochester, New York Area. Read about how you can help here

I wanted to share an update on sleeve widths. We recently implemented a small change to make the elbow slightly wider. This change will affect all orders placed February 19th and later.

The update changes the sleeve shape at the halfway point between cuff and bicep, making the sleeve width 1/16" wider (1/8" fully around) right at the elbow. There is no change to the bicep width or cuff circumference - those will match what you specify as always.

Hopefully this will help to alleviate some of the forearm tightness that some people have been struggling with.
Could this negatively affect customers who had no issues before?

I'm interested in a PC jacket. Are details like the gorge height and the button stance adjustable? I'm especially interested in the gorge height; site pictures make it look so high that these risk looking dated in not too many years.

First time poster on this forum but big Proper Cloth fan. I have a few dozen of your shirts. On question for @Seph though. I have some earlier propercloth shirts from like, 2015-2016, in great basic colors/patterns. Specifically, I have some small/medium ginghams (I had a red gingham that a blew an elbow out of, I have a black/graphite gingham that I love, a dark navy gingham) and a red stripe shirt. It seems like a lot of those basic business fabrics are no longer available. I love your selection of flannels, especially the merino and wool blend fabrics, and some of the Thomas Mason fabrics are great. But it would be great to see a return of a bunch of basic gingham and stripe patterns, particularly in non-blue colors.

We're always rotating through things like this. They will be back at some point.

These are not adjustable now.

Looks like you could bring the shoulder width in some. It’s a bit hard to tell, but it appears that the should seam is well over the edge of your shoulder joint. Also, sleeves are perhaps a bit long
