Problem with Jantzen Tailor

Hi, I'd appreciate some advice. I ordered a shirt several weeks ago from Jantzen tailor. I live in the US. Jantzen charged me for the shirt and I received an email from Alex saying that as soon as the shirt was "confirmed" I'd get a turnaround time estimate. A couple of weeks later I got an email saying the fabric I picked was not available. I replied with several alternatives, and a week or so later received an email saying none of the choices were available. I replied with three more choices, and got another email saying none of them were available. At this point I told Alex that I'd prefer to have a refund and he stopped responding. Did I just lose my money? Any advice would be appreciated.

May just be easier to try a few more fabrics; refunding seems to be challenging for them, especially if it's an order for just one shirt.
