Been using it for years, and yes, it works. Drinking lots of water and using their facial cleanser every night keeps my skin completely clear - something that I had little to no success with before using their product.

I started using it about a couple months ago and I definitely notice a difference. My face has cleared up significantly. Only 3 or 4 times in the past couple months has a pimple popped up, whereas before it seemed like every day I would find a new blemish. I ordered the 5 piece kit to begin with but I have barely touched anything but the 3 main parts. I will definitely keep buying it, but only the 3 piece system because the other stuff seems like a waste for me.

I was thinking about getting this, but I got turned off by the presentation and the OMG IT WORKS commercials.

does it dry out your skin? Does it help reduce oil?

It has never dried out my skin. The basic 3 parts haven't helped me with oil, but the oil control lotion has helped with that a little bit.

I could not recommend this product more.

The fact that Jessica Simpson endorsed it actually increases her credibility.

The basic ingredient in ProActiv is benzoyl peroxide (@ 2.5%) - one would be better served by buying mdEssentials 10.0% benzoyl peroxide cream from www.911skin.com (costs $18). All the other stuff in ProActiv are moisturizers anyway (and I prefer to stick to Kiehls for those). Panzer

the Proactiv Revitalizing Toner and the Skin-Lightening Lotion aren't just moisturizers - they're good AHA-based exfoliants, and the latter also contains 2% hydroquinone and some kojic acid to help skin discolorations. 10% BP may work better for some people, but because of the trade-off of subtle but long-term cumulative damage to your skin, you should use the lowest percentage that works for you. Start with 2.5% and if that works, great - stick with it. If not, try 5%. If 5% doesn't work, try a 10% product. The only Proactiv products to avoid are the Advanced Blemish Treatment and the Daily Oil Control (because both contain drying alcohol and in the case of the latter, a form of aluminum starch found in deodorants) and the Refining Mask (which contains irritating sulfur). The other products in the Proactiv line are good, but not necessarily irreplaceable by comparable less-expensive products from other lines.

All I know is that I used a lot of benzoyl peroxide products prior to ProActiv, and none worked. ProActiv did...

10% BP is horrible to most skin, and the irritation can cause more breakouts than it solves. I get much better results using 2.5%.

But this Proactiv stuff intrigues me, because it comes with everything that I have to buy separately here, and for less. Korean skin care products aren't cheap.

Same here, I have tried many different things and Proactiv has definitely worked the best.

Hmm, just wondering, you try any internal medication before? Go to your doctor, and ask him to prescripe something for your condition. A pill a day and you will have much better skin in no time.

I don't really trust most medical doctors and I really try to stay away from any kind of medications so I've never tried any internal medicines. I only use it once a day so the "month supply" of Proavtiv has lasted me almost 3 months so far which makes it cheaper than pretty much any medication too.
