1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Wouldn't Prince be the recording artist most likely to fake his own death? Just saying.

This hit me harder than Bowie.

For Bowie, I learnt that I liked a lot of his music but never bought any of it. But Prince, I had almost all of his albums, even the crappy ones. A friend at school lent me a copy of Purple Rain the movie, and it began from there. I was browsing eBay the other day after hearing about his flu, thinking I should get some of his stuff on vinyl.

    Don't fuck with the Flu.

I just found out Prince wrote, Manic Monday and Nothing Compares to you. And Tom Jones covered Kiss with an Industrial band.

Word is he was treated for an overdose last week, not the flu.

Not sure I'd call Art Of Noise an industrial band, but it is a fantastic cover.

The D'Angela/ Princess tribute on Fallon was pretty good. Sniff.
