Does anybody know where the Prince of Wales gets his nice and slim rep ties?

I have it on good authority that the heir apparent indeed does not wear that fine establishment's garments.

Smith.

Oh silly me - I didn't read the question in its entirety. Do forgive, bearing in mind that not everyone shares your myopic opinion that Hermès' elephant ties are goofy. Well if it's slim rep ties we're talking about, then it could very well be the same place where he's purchased several MTM suits as of late - the venerable Turnbull & Asser.

My guess is T&A, maybe Holliday & Brown (judging by the nature of the stripes on his repp ties). It's possible some, if not most, are bespoke.

My T&A tie has a tag stating "by appointment to HRHtPoW", but I guess that just says he buys something at T&A?

Here's some information on that:
http://www.royalwarrant.org/

"History of The Royal Warrant
From earliest times tradesmen and women have served their sovereign by providing goods and services [such as] making robes and... [trading] in luxury fabrics. By the 15th century Royal tradesmen were recognised by means of a Royal Warrant of Appointment - a practice that continues to this day."

You can actually search to see if a particular company has achieved this honour:

I'd say Benson and Clegg.
