Prince Charles’ radical new look

I haven’t seen Prince Charles in a single breasted suit since he was in his twenties, but The Prince of Wales seems to have taken a radical new step. Shots of him at the Commonwealth Games in Australia over the past few days show him in pale grey and dark blue stripe two button single-breatseds.
Given the magnitude of this development what thoughts do we have?

I grow old, I grow old, I shall wear my suits single-fold.

Yes...if you haven't seen HRH the PoW in a single-breasted suit then you haven't been paying much attention.

His Royal Highness always wears a light weight single breasted suit when visiting hotter climes. This is therefore quite normal, makes a great deal of sense, and does not imply a change of clothes in any way.

You have no basis whatever for your assertion.

You are wrong. The only lightweight single breasted here was late last year

I have no plans to argue with you: I am quite content that you have no clue about reality.

I assume that you have a hundreds of photographs of His Royal Highness' daily choice to make this assertion. Were I to be you, I would heed the advice generously offered by Ich Dein and Varsityred, especially the latter.

Well he does have to stick to classic British tailoring / styles and as patron of British bespoke makers and shoes and such... which greatly reduces his choices. As Royalty he can't go around flaunting his unprecedented access to wealth. I remember what his name: Dodi Fayed... the super high roller guy that princess Diana was dating for 1 month, that guy also had more unprecedented access to wealth what 100k / month (back in the 90s) allowance from his Dad, yet his wardrobe was pretty disappointing too....
I think Prince Charles dresses pretty well compared to the rest of the family. Well Edward VIII was the true dandy of the royal family, hard to live up to that rep
