I really like those C&Js... I think they're just a little too big.

Double leather sole Dmax. These are killer, just a 1/2 size too big for the Fairy.

Re: the Lobbs -

The finish looks very uniform - is there any variegation/antiquing in the finish that has been washed out by the flash?

Is that their true colour/do you have any other pics of that Dark Oak leather?

Also, which Lobb line are these from, the standard/classic line I guess?

Thank you.

These are from the Classic line. They are a much richer dark oak than in the photo which has been washed out by the flash. There is no antiquing to speak of and I would definitely describe the finish as uniform. If you wanted antiquing you could use some black polish on the toe and heel counter.

They would look awfully nice with some of those HF sports coats.

If they were 1/2 size bigger, I would have bought them for sure. That style is perfect for pebble-grained leather imo.

Thank you for the very full reply - I think I'll pass this time, but hopefully someone else snaps them up. The last shape seems absolutely beautiful, but I don't think the colour/finish is quite for me.

God, someone's going to get a steal.

Its my size but I'm a student, so I can't splurge on this. But please, take the picture down or something, its torture.
