1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Mom surprises me with a weeklong surfing trip to my uncle's house in Oceanside, CA. only catch is I gotta find a ticket. All in all this is not a bad problem to be solving. Ok the reason for the post, where can I get really really really. Inexpensive tickets??? Im trying to fly out of Raleigh, RDU and into San Diego SAN this Thursday, 15, and fly back, on the 22 or 23. Thank you all in advance.... A whole lottt. Parsonsdb

I've had good luck with Travelocity:  round trip from DC to LA for $336.  I bought over a month in advance, however.  You might have difficulty getting a good deal on such short notice.  That being said, I've heard that airlines are slashing prices right now because so few people are flying.  For understandable reasons, September 11 is going to be a very low volume day for the airlines.  Because it would be in extremely poor taste for airlines to cut prices for that day exclusively, they're starting to cut prices now.  Try the clearinghouses like Travelocity, Orbitz, and Expedia.
