Columbus Day: Drop to $315. Get this while you can!
Up for sale is a new-with-tags, gray wool suit from Golden Fleece, which is Brooks Brothers’ highest-quality line. Suits from the Golden Fleece line hardly ever go on sale, and not at $350.
The jacket is marked "Hand Tailored" and "Full Canvas". In regards to the Full Canvas, the jacket passes the “pinch” test above the chest pocket and below the bottom button. In other words, there is indeed a floating layer of canvas between the wool fabric at both of those pinch points.
The Golden Fleece label seems to have been removed for the sale, and replaced with a regular Brooks Brothers label. You can see the outlines of where the original tag was stitched into the lining. But the “Full Canvas” label was left behind. No other Brooks Brothers line aside from Black Fleece has that label. By process of elimination, it is Golden Fleece, as the proportions aren't shrunken like Black Fleece.
The pants are flat front.
It was made in the USA, presumably by Martin Greenfield or Southwick.
