Kardo is a brand I learned about from NMWA. They design and produce every piece in their own workshop in New Delhi using traditional techniques to craft and dye their clothing. Processes such as block printing, chikankari embroidery and using natural dyes for all their hand loomed fabrics give the garments a soul and ensure the art lives on.

This "Ryan" shirt was woven on a handloom by the weavers of Udyog Bharti from beautifully textured khadi cotton. Then, using a technique call AJRAKH...
