On sale here is a brand new pair of chukka boots in dark brown suede from Crockett & Jones. This is their 'Tetbury' model - crafted on the very sleek and elegant '348' last, and sized UK 10E.
These boots currently retail for $550 at the C&J retail store in NYC, but can be found for around $420 on the internet via international retailers such as Edwards of Manchester, which is where I got these.
While I love both the fit of these boots, as well as the look of the last, I find the particular shade of brown for this suede to be too dark for my tastes.
Have dropped the price on these now to $300 - a very good discount from what I originally paid at Edwards of Manchester, and also an excellent discount from what I currently have cross-listed up on Ebay for this specific pair of boots. If I can't sell them off at this price, will just go ahead and keep these boots for myself.
