Despite whom I might have wanted in the election I was, naturally, quite interested in the Inaugural festivities and what everyone was wearing. I caught those few moments of the Neighborhood Ball on tv and, gracious as the Obamas were in their dancing, I couldn't help but being disappointed in the Prez' dignified but incorrect attire in two instances: he was wearing formal evening wear at a super grand series of events, yet his tuxedo sported notch lapels. In addition, Obama wore a large, clunky watch (that well publicized one he was given from the Secret Service?) with the formalwear. Am I the only one who noticed these two indiscretions? For this grandest of occasions, yours truly believes the man was ill advised in these two choices. Does anyone else think so as well? Reminded me of when Prince Philip wore a notch lapel dinner suit at the formal evening event connected with the couple's 60th wedding anniversary in 2007. Has the world gone to blazes?
